Second Amendment

The right to bear arms must be protected, but so should the lives of our fellow citizens, students, and community members. A majority of Americans support common sense gun control policies that save lives. We must work to implement these policies.

• Support universal background checks.

• Work with government agencies and private businesses to expand access to safe weapon storage education.

• End the gun show loophole.

• Ensure that Floridian’s maintain the right to defend themselves and their homes.

• Ensure that those who shouldn’t have access to weapons, don’t.
